Started as a one man band, Electrite now employs nine people and has quickly grown to be a leading niche market specialist in installing and maintaining stairlifts and other specialist electrical work.

We install around 250 stairlifts a year for Birmingham City Council and Leicestershire County Council on behalf of Tellan Access solutions and also maintain stairlifts for Dudley Council. We are a main dealer for two of the UK's best known stairlift manufacturers.

Other specialist projects include electrical work on passenger and good lifts for Otis and Lift & Engineering Services, two of the UK's leading lift and escalator manufacturers and supplier, for whom we are a preferred supplier.

Due to health and safety issues involved with working on lifts, we are one of a very few electricians in the Midlands who have achieved Otis health and safety accreditation which enables us to do this kind of work without a lift engineer present.
